What are the mega-trends? What does the future have in store? Some of what you'll read in Live on Less you will find alarming. Mainstream newspapers, TV, and media water down the truth, they don't after all want to alarm or depress their readers - their advertisers wouldn't like it! We have no such concerns and tell it like it is.

The US and UK economies are heading for a fall. Personal and national debt are at record levels, imports are at record levels against exports - and getting worse - and house prices are just crazy in historical terms. We'll be providing much comment and opinion on the housing market as it now holds the key to our economic wellbeing.

In the UK we seem to make almost nothing any more, everything comes in from China, very soon we'll have to import much of our oil and gas too. Almost 30% of the working population now work directly or indirectly for the government, i.e. their wages are effectively paid for out of taxation. But with an increasingly vulnerable economic base, where will that tax revenue come from in future? It is not a healthy picture.
